Intensive One to One Wheel throwing sessions

Cost: £ 120
An introductory intensive training session for beginners, or intermediate level students.. Sessions are 2 hours long. Beginners will make a small range of different vessels, which you can pick up later ready trimmed and glazed. If you would like to trim and /or glaze your own work follow up sessions are available at a rate of £90 if you wish to explore the techniques further

Wheel Throwing Experience for two. Celebrate anniversaries, birthdays or just do it for fun.


Cost: £ 150
Celebrate a special day by learning a new skill whilst getting dirty for fun.

Sessions are 2. hours long. You will learn basic techniques on the wheel and make a variety of small vessels, which you can collect fully finished and glazed after a period of time.

Throwing Introduction Weekends

This is a 2.5 day course ( 10 hours ) suitable for beginners and Intermediate students. We start Saturday at 10.30 with a demo followed by throwing bowls, cups and lidded pots.

By the end of the first day ( 3 pm), you will have made a set of functional vessels ready for trimming and decoration.

Day two will beginn with a trimming demo followed by students turning their leather hard pots with tools and making handles to attach to cups and lids. You will have time to carve textured surfaces or attach decorative details. A two hour glazing session will be arranged once the work is fired on the following Sunday at 15.00.

Please email me to arrange suitable weekends before you purchase the course. Please note that a minimum of three students are needed for this bespoke gift course to go-ahead. Maximum four participants.
